The entire proceeds of the sale of our clothing articles are used to support our annual projects: nutritional supplements for lunch in 6 schools, aid to maintain 5 old people’s homes, medical emergency fund, entire maintenance costs of a maternity/ delivery ward, aid for two hospitals and two homes for disabled children, aid for a home for mentally deranged women, payment of rent for some particularly poor people.

PASHMINA
Our pashminas are entirely hand-woven in Kashmir because the thread is so fine that it cannot be machine-woven. The embroidery design is created by local artists and made entirely by hand.
Our suppliers are not only among the best in the world but they also feel involved in our projects, giving us the opportunity to maintain extremely competitive prices.
KURTAS
The designs of the fabrics are made entirely by hand with the block print technique.
We at Vimala are proud to help preserve such a beautiful traditional art that enables many families of quality craftsmen to make a living.
The embroideries of the most precious garments are created, designed and embroidered exclusively for us.
JACKETS & COATS
The selection of fabrics and finished garments is made personally by the Team of the Vimala Association which every year goes to India, not only to check the status of the projects but also to purchase directly.
